People often ask Saguaro National Park “how can I be a good neighbor to the park,” or “what are some ways I can support conservation efforts at home?”

Partners of the Park Neighbors Project

Buenos Vecinos is an ongoing project in partnership with Sky Island Alliance, a conservation focused nonprofit, working to protect the diverse life of mountain areas in southern Arizona and Mexico. For 10 years, SIA has been partnering with the National Parks of southern Arizona, helping them connect and work with parks located in Sonora, Mexico and Baja, California. Through these partnerships, they have been able to facilitate a wide variety of environmental conservation projects including springs restoration, ranch land sustainability, fire-recovery, and borderlands restoration.

Sky Island Alliance Our mission is to protect and restore the land, water and biodiversity of the Sky Islands.
