OYSTER BAY, NEW YORK – The National Park Service (NPS) has approved a $5 increase for guided tours of the interior of the Theodore Roosevelt Home at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site.  The fee increase will go into effect on May 1, 2024 and coincides with increases at the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Sites in Hyde Park, New York. The new tour fees are as follows:

Interior House Tour Fee Current Fee New Fee
Adult $10 $15
Children (15 and under) Free Free
With Federal Rec. Lands Pass $1 Service Charge $1 Service Charge
Sagamore Hill Year-Long Pass $40 $45

This tour fee increase does not affect the cost or value of Federal Recreational Lands Passes that can be used at Sagamore Hill, including the Annual, Senior, Access, 4th Grade, Military Annual, and Military Lifetime passes. Visitors under 16 years of age and Federal Recreational Lands Pass holders are exempt from paying a tour fee. Additionally, access to all grounds, parking lots, trails, beach, and the Old Orchard Museum is free.

This fee increase, the first in nine years, will align ticket prices with current prevailing prices at local museums and historic sites, provide additional fee revenue to address critical historic preservation projects, and support park improvement projects and programs that directly benefit visitors to Sagamore Hill.
