The American Camp Visitor Center opened in 2022. It examines our island's ongoing Coast Salish heritage and history, its ecology, The Pig War, and how it impacted the lives of many types of people from diverse backgrounds.

The American Camp Visitor Center is open Thursday - Monday from 10AM - 3PM.
The English Camp Visitor Center is closed and will reopen in May 2025.
The grounds and outdoor exhibit areas are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at both camps.

The English Camp Visitor Center is open during the summer months and plays our park movie that tells the story of The Pig War. It is currently closed for the season and will reopen in May 2025.

    American Camp

    American Camp's Visitor Center opened in 2022 and features interactive displays. It is regularly open March-November.
