Interpretive Tours

Join us for programs highlighting specific objects in the collection, specialized topics, and/or interesting elements of the site that provide a comprehensive understanding of the stories of the Springfield Armory. Topics include innovators, the historic Hill Shops, blank firing demonstrations, the evolution of Springfield firearms, the Blanchard Lathe, and highlights of a specific firearm.

Before or after the tour, visitors may view an 18-minute documentary about the Armory, take part in Junior Ranger activities or take a self-guided tour of the historic grounds. Call (413) 734-8551 for additional information.
