Education Program in Development

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of developing curriculum-based education programming tailored for students and teachers. In the meantime, we offer a selection of non-curriculum-based programs for all ages! To learn more, please check out the available program offerings listed below.

Additionally, you can explore a wealth of educational resources provided by the National Park Service through the Educators Portal.

Thank you for your interest in our educational programs! We look forward to enriching your learning experience.

Planning Your Field Trip

Experience our colonial-era homes through a ranger-led program! When planning your field trip, there are a few things that you should know:

  • Cost: Education programs are FREE

  • Group Size:
    • Groups of 15 or more people are required to make advance reservations for our programs. Advance reservations are not available for groups with fewer than 15 people. However, if your group consists of fewer than 15, we encourage you to join one of our general public programs. For more details, please refer to our calendar.
    • We can accommodate groups of 15-60 people* per time slot
    • *Friday and Saturday time slots accommodate a maximum of 60 people, including chaperones.
    • *Thursday and Sunday time slots accommodate a maximum of 20 people, including chaperones.
    • If your group exceeds 60 people, reservations for additional time slots will be necessary. Large groups will be divided into smaller groups of up to 20 people for access to historic structures.
  • Chaperones: All groups require at least 1 chaperone per 10 students

  • Accessibility: Programs require climbing stairs and walking approximately 0.5 miles total between historic houses. Accommodations are available for individuals with accessibility needs. Learn more about accessibility at Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park.
