Are you interested in conservation, want to build lifelong connections to the outdoors, and gain professional skills? Become a steward of our public lands and learn about all the opportunities through the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps (21 CSC). This is a bold national effort to put thousands of America’s young people 16-30 years old and military veterans 35 years old or younger to work, protecting, restoring, and enhancing America’s great outdoors. This national effort includes the Public Lands Corps, a work and education program for young people and veterans.

Here are just a few types of service corps opportunities you can participate in:

  • Natural resources

  • Cultural resources

  • Historic preservation

  • Communications

  • Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM)

  • Community building
