Opportunities can be found as an individual or through group efforts. Whether it is giving donations, reducing environmental impacts through recycling or other means of support, volunteer prospects abound! Your efforts give additional value for other visitors to experience. In return, you get the satisfaction of knowing your contributions assist in the protection and conservation of the natural, cultural and historical resources of Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve.

The preserve gains from your expertise and talents. There are many ways to get involved and support Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. The preserve offers rewarding experiences in how you may volunteer. You may choose to work the Visitor Center desk, present living history demonstrations, provide information at the Lower Fox Creek schoolhouse, give interpretive tours and programs, assist with Educational Events, research special history projects, do storytelling, conduct Oral History Interviews, provide citizen science through butterfly counts, maintain trails, etc. Opportunities abound!
