Just the power of weathering, erosion, and deposition is enough to make a cave! Students will explore real-life application of these concepts by learning how they led to the creation of Timpanogos Cave.

A virtual scan of Timpanogos Cave will place students in the cave environment! They will investigate evidence of weathering and deposition as they explore the winding passages.

How to Participate

Because our lessons are interactive, certain technology is required to participate. Access to a computer, a web camera (with a built-in microphone), a projector, speakers, a video conferencing platform (e.g. Google Meets, Zoom, or Teams), and a stable high-speed internet connection is required.

Lessons are available from August- April (Excluding December and January). Each lesson is an hour, unless otherwise requested.

To request a Virtual Visit, use our Microsoft Bookings Page. You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions on how to confirm your booking. If your school would like multiple presentations in a single day, email our Education Specialist directly.
