National Parks are are subject to special rules and regulations designed to best protect the park and its resources while also providing safe and rewarding experiences for park visitors.

Federal Regulations

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) parts 1-199 contains laws which apply to all National Park areas.

Park-specific Regulations

The Theodore Roosevelt National Park Superintendent's Compendium is updated annually and contains regulations created under the discretionary authority of the superintendent.
