Become a Junior Ranger at Tonto National Monument! Hey Kids, complete this Junior Ranger booklet by downloading this PDF version at home. Just complete six activities and send it to us by email or print and mail your pages to us, then we will send you the badge.

For those under age five, we have Mini-Ranger booklets available upon request. They are designed to help adults with younger children enjoy their time together outside while visiting and meet the unique needs of early childhood development and can be modified easily to help meet your child's specific needs. To Earn the Mini Ranger Award, They must complete at least four activities.

Arizona Junior Ranger Explorer
To earn this patch, you will need to visit four National Park Service sites in Arizona and fill out the travel log, complete the John Wesley Powell and Leave No Trace activities, and complete five other additional activities.

Night Explorer Junior Ranger Program
Learn about the Night Sky! To earn this patch, you need to complete the number of activities based on your age. Also, you will need to attend the Monument's Night Sky event or complete the "Take a Planet Walk" activity found within the activity book.
