Getting Around

A gravel road leads from the main entrance to the Cabin District.

Access beyond the Cabin District is available in the following ways:

  • By hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing.

  • By personal vehicle with a valid backcountry vehicle pass (40 passes available per day; seasonal restrictions apply)

Vehicle access beyond the Cabin District is closed seasonally from November 15 to May 14.
