About the Podcaster

Sheridan Noll, host of Voyageurs National Park's first podcast miniseries “Science Snapshot,” is a wildlife technician from central Illinois. She has worked with moose in the winter northwoods near Ely, Minnesota, fishers and pine martens in the Sierra Nevadas in California, migratory birds in the Florida Keys, and the iconic loons and beavers of Voyageurs National Park.

Sheridan's interest in podcasting started after she realized it combined her talent for creative writing and her knack for finding fun ways to share information. This miniseries brought together her passion for conservation and love of environmental outreach.

When not tracking animals across North America, you can find Sheridan haunting the local bookstore or hanging out with her pigeons, Nugget and Tater.
