Operating Hours

Visitor Center:

• Open 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Closed on Thanksgiving Day, December 25th, and January 1st.

Overlook and Trail:

• Open daily 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset.
• A walking trail down to the site of Chief Black Kettle's village begins at the overlook.
• The self-guided interpretive trail is approximately 1.5 miles roundtrip. The trail is half paved and ADA accessible, half an unimproved dirt and grass path.
