Support Your Park

Donations
While Whitman Mission National Historic Site does not charge an entrance fee or fees for ranger programs donations can always be given to support the park and the programs we have for visitors. Monetary donations to Whitman Mission can be dropped in our donation box inside the park visitor center. Donating to organizations like Discover Your Northwest (DYNW) or The Fund for People in Parks also help to support our parks. These organizations give funds and grants to the park for upgrades and projects. Donations support programs and services that inspire visitors to become stewards of this special place.

Gift Store
At the Whitman Mission Visitor Center, Discover Your Northwest operates a gift store that helps to support our park. Buying in our bookstore helps support park activities like education programs, maintenance upgrades and more to make our park as good as it can be. You can also support Discover Your Northwest online by looking through their online bookstore.

Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the most important activities that people can do to support our parks. Many projects at Whitman Mission could only have been accomplished with the help of volunteers. From helping staff at the front desk to helping facilities grews pull invasive species, there are many ways you can become a volunteer for Whitman Mission NHS.
