Visitor Center Exhibits

The exhibits in the visitor center are audio described and devices are available for loan from the information desk.

Park Brochure

Large print and braille versions of the official Wright Brothers National Memorial brochure are available from the information desk at the visitor center.

On the Park Brochure page you can find the following versions:

Tactile Exhibits

When you first enter the Visitor Center, there is a tactile map of the park with locations marked in braille. A flat, tactile map of the layout of the building is placed on the wall to the left of the main entrance door.

Inside the Flight Room of the Visitor Center are raised drawings of the Wright brothers' early gliders an interactive model, built to scale, of the 1903 Wright Flyer, and other tacticle exhibits, many with Braille captions.

The First Flight Boulder, marking the takeoff spot, has a raised relief metal plaque.
