Eating & Sleeping

Yellowstone has a variety of options for staying overnight in the park. There are modern hotel rooms, rustic cabins, RV and tent campground sites, and primitive backcountry campsites. Some campgrounds take reservations through Yellowstone National Park Lodges, while others take reservations through Recreation.gov.

When the time comes to eat, there are several options as well within the park. Restaurants and cafeterias are located near lodges, as are general stores for those looking to purchase groceries or snacks. In addition, there are 52 picnic areas spread all across the park. Remember, guard your food at all times to prevent any wildlife from becoming food–habituated.
