Park HoursBlack Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is open year-round, 24 hours a day. Some facilities have limited hours or closures during winter. South RimThe South Rim Road is usually open to vehicles from late-April to mid-November. In winter, the South Rim Road is open to Gunnison Point at the visitor center. The remainder of the road is closed to vehicles, but open to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing when conditions permit.
