How to Support Curecanti

Thank you for your interest in supporting Curecanti National Recreation Area. Here are some ways you can help support the park.

Volunteer

Volunteers contribute valuable hours to the park as camp hosts and information assistants. Learn more about volunteering and opportunities here.

Submit comments in park planning

Participate in public comment periods on park planning documents. Share your ideas on how Curecanti and other national park sites can best be managed to preserve them for future generations. Documents currently open for review are listed here.

Become a friend of the park

Friends of the Black Canyon and Curecanti is a non-profit that provides strategic investments in programs and initiatives that help protect, enhance, and preserve the resources of both parks.

Shop at the bookstore

Western National Parks Association (WNPA) is a non-profit organization that supports Curecanti National Recreation Area and dozens of other national park sites. WNPA operates a bookstore at the Elk Creek Visitor Center. A percentage of each purchase made at the park directly benefits Curecanti through projects, internship funding, and more.

Donate

Monetary donations are graciously accepted and directly benefit the park. These funds are used for interpretation, visitor services and safety, as well as resource management programs. If desired, those making a donation may specify a use for their money.
