Scheduling Educational Programs

The National Park Service recognizes and supports the value parks for students to learn about the natural and cultural values that parks protect. School groups that conduct outings that are noncommercial and for educational purposes by schools or academic institutions, may apply for an educational waiver. If accepted, your group will be exempt from entrance fees at Minaret Vista Entrance Station and exempt from the mandatory shuttle requirement. Please contact us in advance if you would like a ranger to present to your group (based on availability).

To apply for the educational waiver, please email us with the following details: teacher and school names, date of visit, phone number, number of vehicles, length of vehicles, number of students, and any special requests from park staff.
