Junior Ranger

Fort Scott has three different Junior Ranger booklets; one for preschool children (ages 3-5), one for younger elementary age children (ages 6-9), and one for those who are 10 and above.

Each of these books tells many exciting stories about Fort Scott. You can discover answers to the books' questions both at the site and online. Fort Scott's Junior Ranger books not only connect you with the site's history, but also give you opportunities to display your talents at art and hone your math skills.

Click on the name of each of the Junior Ranger books below to download a digital copy. Junior Ranger books may also be picked up in the Visitor Center upon arrival.
