You can become a "Park Guardian" and provide support to the park via our official philanthropic partner, the Great Basin National Park Foundation.

Great Basin National Park Foundation passionately works to enhance, preserve, and interpret the starry night skies, wide-open scenery, cultural heritage, and diverse native ecosystems of Great Basin National Park.

Other ways to Support Your Park

There are a variety of ways in which you can help support Great Basin National Park.

Purchase items from the park's bookstore, run by the Western National Parks Association. A percentage of proceeds is returned to the park through education and preservation projects.

Volunteer your own time as a campground host, tour guide, researcher, or artist in residence.
Through the years, and currently, many individuals have generously donated their time and energy, volunteering for various programs and projects throughout the park. Based on those efforts, and donations from our friends, many programs, staffing, and other park activities are made possible.

Contribute to the Great Basin Foundation, whose mission is to to promote and support projects that enhance the values of Great Basin National Park, including the Great Basin Astronomical Observatory.

Practice Leave No Trace principles while in the park and help preserve the landscape for future generations.
