The Green Springs National Historic Landmark District in Virginia’s Piedmont offers a continuum of rural architecture and landscapes in original context with minimal alteration. Farms and buildings, many predating the Civil War and connected to one another visually and through family relationships of early occupants, are preserved.
The National Park Service does not itself own or operate public facilities in the Landmark District, which, however, may be visited via the public thoroughfares crossing it. |
