A multi-level organizational structure ensures that the North Coast and Cascades Network Inventory and Monitoring program is accountable and operates effectively. The network is responsible to a Board of National Park Superintendents and a Steering Committee consisting of park Natural Resources Chiefs; overarching guidance is provided by the Inventory & Monitoring Division of the National Park Service's Washington Office.
The network consists of National Park Service personnel funded entirely, or in part, by the Inventory and Monitoring program and of personnel from North Coast and Cascades Network parks who provide substantial support for implementation. The North Coast and Cascades Network Inventory and Monitoring program also relies on the participation of a number of cooperators from other agencies and organizations.
