Ranger John shares park history with visitors waiting to enter the mansion

The Mansion Open House will resume in May 2025.
The first floor of the mansion is open for public viewing Friday-Tuesday (closed Weds/Thurs), 12:30pm-2:30pm, from Memorial Day Weekend-October 31. A limited amount of visitors are able to enter the building at a time. Arrive early, lines form quickly. Reservations are available in advance on Recreation.gov.
A ranger will be stationed outside the Mansion providing introductory talks. There will also be a ranger inside to answer any questions you may have. Visitors enter through the front of the home and exit through the back into the garden. A limited number of people may enter the home at a time.
