Getting Started
The Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial is closed for the season. Check back in spring 2025 for a reopening date. It is typically open weekends only, April through October.

The site is within walking distance of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell Center. It is located at 301 Pine Street in the Society Hill neighborhood. On-street parking is limited near the site. Many visitors choose to park in the garage at the Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Market Streets (fee applies). These directions should prove useful when planning your visit.

There is no fee to enter the site, and reservations are not required. The site is self-guided. Exhibits on the first floor provide information about Kosciuszko's role as a military engineer in the American Revolution, as well as his later involvement as the leader of an unsuccessful uprising in Poland against Russian occupation. There is a film in English and Polish, and rooms with period furnishings on the second floor.
