What is Activity Reporting?

The NPS collects data on all CUA activites including the number of trips, guides, and clients as well as the specific location and type of activity. Denali requires annual activity reporting which is due on January 31st for the prior calendar year.

Who Needs to Report?

All CUA holders are required to submit an activity report. If the operator did not conduct any CUA activity in the previous year they are still required to submit a report indicating that they did not operate. Failure to report could have consequences up to and including permit revocation across the NPS.

How Do I Complete Activity Reporting?

Activity reporting across the Alaska region, including Denali, is completed in the Visitor Use Reporting System (VURn).
