Learn more about partnership opportunities with the National Park Service around the nation. Frances Perkins CenterThe Frances Perkins Center is a key partner in the ownership and management of the overall national monument. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and upholding the legacy of Frances Perkins. The Center was instrumental in the effort to include the site in the National Park System. It acquired the 57-acre property that is currently the new national monument in 2020. While 2.3 acres around the Brick House was donated to the National Park Service as new federal land in 2024, the reminder of acreage is still owned and managed by the Frances Perkins Center as non-federal land. The Center will remain onsite and continue many of its current projects, including restoration projects in the Brick House, museum exhibits, and sharing the legacy of Frances Perkins. The National Park Service will continue to build off their excellent work of preserving Perkins’ legacy, including ways to experience the park and preservation of the cultural resources. |
