The Frances Perkins Homestead Brick House is currently closed to the public during ongoing restoration projects. The house is expected to reopen in summer of 2025. Visitors can still walk the grounds of the 57-acre historic homestead to view the exterior of the Brick House, barn, and other historic buildings on the property. There are also paths open from dawn to dusk year-round with views of the gardens, woods, and the Damariscotta River. The trails are largely unstaffed throughout the year so visitors must plan ahead for safety purposes. Check the weather before visiting. Maine is generally cold throughout the year with snow, rain, and wind common. Loading weather forecast... |
