Exploring Park Grounds and Trails

Entrance to Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is free of charge. The grounds and gardens are open to the public from dawn to dusk, year-round. All carriage roads and trails are open and free to the public until there is enough snow accumulation for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. At that time, free access is limited to multi-use trails.

Day Tickets and Season Passes for Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing

The Woodstock Resort Corporation holds an easement on park carriage roads and trails for winter use. The Woodstock Nordic Center maintains and grooms over 12 miles of park trails as part of its larger Nordic trail network. To use these trails for skiing and snowshoeing you must have a valid Day ticket or Season pass.

Ranger-Led Programs and Mansion Tours

Ranger-led programs are available during the visitor season (late May - October 31). Advanced reservations are required and can be purchased up to 60 days in advance on Recreation.gov.
