Visitor Guide to Redwood National and State Parks

Planning your visit? The 2023 Visitor Guide (PDF, 5 MB) is a free resource available at all five visitor centers. This guide, funded by Redwood Parks Conservancy, provides essential information to help you explore the parks safely and responsibly.

Guide to Campgrounds and Campsites In and Around the Parks

People wanting developed campsites in summer will need to plan and book ahead!

We no longer provide a camping directory that has information about private or county-operated campgrounds outside the parks. This information is provided by Humbolt County and Del Norte County chambers of commerce and visitor bureaus.

Camping information in the adjacent national forest to our northeast is provided by the Six Rivers National Forest. Be aware that Redwood National and State Parks' campgrounds can not accomodate medium to large-sized RVs and trailers.
