Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument is a collection of three discontiguous units: Quarai, Abó, and Gran Quivira. Originally three seperate units, Abó and Quarai were state owned and Gran Quivira it's own National Monument since 1909, the three came together under the management of the National Park Service in 1980. The addition of the headquarters visitor center makes four total park units for you to enjoy and have your own unique experience with. The foundations of our organization and our future plans are found in our park's foundation document and strategic action plan.
To ensure you have a safe visit while helping us to protect these treasured resources, check out the Salinas specific rules and regulations in the Superintendent's Compendium. If you are looking to use the park for any additional activities beyond park hours or general visitation, learn more about special use permits.
